Image automation with Rocketium

Last year, an exec at a massive e-commerce company stumped me with this question. He wanted our API to make millions of product videos but then he started talking about banner images (something we had never done before).

I tried my best to steer the conversation back to videos - "videos are so much better", "the world is moving to videos", "our tech is soooo advanced", but this changed nothing. The reality was that images were 95% of their need.

I went back to the team disappointed that something far simpler than what we had was much more impactful. Once this feeling subsided, the team brainstormed to see what it will take for us to create images. Turns out, our proprietary content format and most of our tech stack could be adapted very easily. Not only that, at 120x the speed and 500x+ the scale of videos!
